Bobby Singer went home

Yeah I know I ought to be jumping for friggin' joy. Bobby's gone home and he never really accepted this place like me and Sam did. It wasn't a vacation for him. Having Bobby here made this place better. I had everyone important to me here and now it's missing something.

I still don't want to go home. If I weren't already going to Hell when I die--again--I'd say that alone would send me.

Yeah...no problem.

[There's some doubt in Dean's voice but it's not about Bobby's state of being. It's about their state of being. Sure they'll trudge on. It's what they do but that doesn't mean they'll be fine. Dean's perfect little world here is fraying apart and going back is even scarier because he's heard the rules. He knows the city!dead don't get to go back home]

[Dean catches the keys, grins and heads out the door. He does glance behind him, watching just to make sure that Sam is with him. He's more than a little over protective and it shows in his body language even if he's trying to disguise it.]

[Yeah that's that co-dependency for you. Dean appreciates the smile even if he's aware it's mostly for his benefit. Sam is okay enough to think of it and for now that'll do for him. He leads the way out to the Impala, getting into the driver's side.]
