6th Hunt [Voice] 3.14 something I'm not a mathmatician I just eat pie

So for those of you who don't know know, today is national Pie Day. In honor of that I'm at Bakery having pie; every kind of pie they have. Come down and have a slice with me. Or six.

Di Di walked into the bakery with a chocolate pie in one hand. The people here knew Di Di from when she made chocolates for a living the first time she was in the City and smiled at her. Di Di nodded before looked around for Dean, assuming that he would be surrounded by plates of all kinds of pies. She spotted someone and waved to him, hoping it was the pie fiend.

Dean looked up at the woman waving to him and grinned. She had brought pie. "Hey! Come on over and sit down."

"hey Dean" She smiled and walked over, finding a place on the table for the pie. "I hope you like chocolate" she took a seat, looking over the table before looking at him. "So Pie day? How did you find out about such a tasty holiday?"

"Di Di, right?" Dean said as she sat down. "Course I like chocolate." He reaches over and pulls the pie closer, cutting a slice of it and putting it on his plate. "You want a piece?" he asked then shrugged before answering her question. "Pi is 3.14159 etc etc. Today is march 14th. 3 14 otherwise known as Pi. Pie day."

Really it was just an excuse to eat pie to Dean.

"Yep, Di Di's my name" It was the only name that she always kept. Well, not really. Anyway. " Thanks, I'd love a piece" She took the plate, then found a fork without the pre-wrapped utensil packet all food places had. She waited to take a bite though. "Oh, that is cleaver. Math's never been my thing though." she took a bite of her pie. "still good after being warmed up. Good to know."

He takes a big bite of his own pie and makes some happy noises around a full mouth. When he finally does speak, his mouth is still half full. "Not really my thing either but I helped my little brother with his math homework. And this pie is friggin' awesome."

Lovely, just what Di Di wanted to see. She didn't mind much though, just handed him a napkin. "Yeah? Thanks. I have a little brother too, named Sam. He's the brains of the family when it come to school work. He likes to speak French just to show off sometimes."

His table manners are more diner practical than society correct. It wasn't like John was really interested in table manners. His face is surprised but he grins. "Whaddya know must be something with the name. Mine is a Sam too and he's a genius." Okay so he's probably not -literally- a genius but damn smart would cover it. "He went to Stanford on a scholarship."

Yup he's proud of Sam. Unreasonably so. Like Dad proud of the kid.

"Stanford, nice." She assumed it was nice anyway. Dean seamed really proud of him. "I'm sure my Sam will get there some day, but he's only in middle school right now. A bit too young for college yet." She didn't feel like bringing her older brother up. Cael was more the wild child and ever since he'd left the family she wasn't in the mood to talk about him. She took another bite of pie and finished eating it before talking again. "So which slice of pie should I order?"

Stanford had been one of those places that Winchesters never got to go. "Just a little," Dean agreed. He considered the tins of pie sitting in front of him before he pointed one out. "Apple. Can't go wrong with the classics and it's good friggin' apple pie."

"Awesome!" She takes the apple and cuts a slice. It did look good. She vaguely though about adding a bit of ice cream to it, but decided not to mention it. Taking a bite, she nodded in agreement. "This is great pie. You have good taste." she relaxed back into her seat, but not some much that she was slouching. "So Dean, tell me more about your world? The deals with god like beings sounds really interesting."

Dean rubs his jaw, considering Di Di and how much to tell her. He distinctly remembered getting the impression that she was withholding things. That naturally made him want to withhold things. Although he could probably explain this without getting too personal.

"You can make deals with demons. Trade your soul for something you want. You ever hear of a Blues singer named Robert Johnson? Some people consider him to be the greatest blues man that ever lived. Especially in the 30's when he was playing. Funny thing was his success was literally overnight. Before that he was your averagely talented guy. He made a deal with a demon to be the greatest blues man that ever lived. Ten years later he dropped dead."

Di Di took a minute to take what he said in. She thought about it as she eat another bite of pie. He'd told her something personal, but she didn't know what she could give something to him in return. It was her policy to make sure that she was never indebted to anyone. "So are there witching and gypsies too?" She wasn't really sure how that helped, but she would get to that later.

"Yup plenty of witches and generally? Witches are whores." Go Dean being PC and all. "Gypsies, I guess but I don't think they're necessarily evil. Gypsy just happens to be a good fit for it sometimes."

See! He could be fair.

"I live with a witch, but she's only 12. I don't think she's a whore." She smirked a little, pretty sure that she would never go down that road. "I can be called a Gypsy. But I never made deals with evil or anything. It was more like my family moved around a lot. It was just that we liked new places." Also more points she she skipped. In her world Gypsy was code word for drifter, thief and other evils of the world. More like identity theft, grand auto theft... in fact all theft in general. "It's not like I go around telling everyone that though."

Dean scowls because he doesn't like when things don't fall into their stereotypes but he'll deal. "If that's what constitutes a gypsy then I'd be one too."

Yeah, pretty much gypsy.

"Yeah people have screwed up ideas of gypsy."

"Something else we have in common. Don't tell me you have an older brother named Cael. That would just go into the creepy side." she decided to just mention him in passing. Nothing too personal about him, just a name and the fact that he's older then her. "People usually have biased views based on stupid stories. It can't be helped when they don't really care."
