41st Hunt [Accidental Video] If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break

[The video flickers on when Dean sets it down. His jaw is clenched, muscles taunt and tense through his jaw, neck and shoulders. The look in his eyes is pure murder. He aims the gun at the target and fires off nine quick shots then reloads and fires nine more. He sets the gun down, nudging the device and it turns to show his target--nine head shots; nine heart shots.

Rinse. Repeat]

I don't know about that. Have you met the Yeti? [Another grin back] Thanks, Brooke. [And from the weight of the words it's obvious it's for more than the joke they've got running]

Not in person, but he mentioned how tall he was. [ She shrugs a little. ] It's nothing.

Yeah, he's a giant freak. Literally. So are you acting like a rabbit today?

Yeah. I think I've gone through more bags of carrots today than I ever have in my entire life.

I've heard you can turn orange. Proof you should just get a cheeseburger instead.

[ That's not a very comforting thought. Especially since she doesn't want a cheeseburger. ] Are you offering to take me to get one?

I wouldn't turn it down.

[ She shouldn't. She really, really shouldn't considering what happened earlier with Xander, but: ] Then come get me.

And leave the gun there.

I'll put the gun up and be there in just a little while.

I'll be waiting. [ She reaches over and turns off the device. ]

[Dean pulls up a little while later in the Impala. He gets out, goes to her door and knocks. Perfect gentleman.]

[ Brooke answers the door in the most flattering dress she owns, which is definitely too fancy for just going and getting a cheeseburger. The curse has got her wanting a little more than carrots and she'll do what she has to in order to get it. ]

Hi.

[Oh it's flattering and Dean notices.He'd be doing a lot more than noticing if it weren't for a very recent attempt at 'something' yet unnamed with an angel--that's literal, not metaphorical. He quirks an eyebrow up at her and grins]

Well I guess you're ready to go.

You have no idea how ready.

[ She trails a hand along his chest as she walks past him into the hallway. ]

I'm beginnin' to get the idea. [He follows her, still a little amused. He leads her out to the Impala and opens the passenger door for her.

Good. [ She smiles her thanks when he opens the door and slides into the car. ]

[And this reminds him to ask Anna if she gets jealous. Not so much because he doesn't want to make her jealous as he doesn't want her to fry the eyeballs out of anyone. He gets into the driver's seat, starts the Impala up and turns the radio down to a volume more conducive to people in the car]

You been through many curses in the City yet? [Because by now he'd be stupid not to realize she's cursed as hell]

[ Brooke's very cursed, which is the reason she shifts in her seat so she's facing him, her hand reaching over to run along his thigh. ] I've been through a few. I haven't been turned into a ghost yet, though, which is nice.

[This is killing him. So very, very killing him. He chuckles, smirking a little at Brooke and nods] That one was probably the worst of it. Not hating this curse as much as I was a little while ago.

No? [ She leans a little closer as her hand travels higher up his thigh. Then, in a very brief moment of control, she pulls her hand away from him and places it on the seat between them. It doesn't get too far, though; if she stretches her pinkie, she'll be able to touch him again. ]

Sorry. [ She pulls away and bites her lower lip a little as she looks him over. ] I'm not normally like this. ...okay, that's not entirely true.

[Dean laughs, shaking his head] Nah, you're fine. I get that you're cursed and I'll behave. Scouts honor. [No he never was a scout. Sam was for a little while though]

Good. [ Brooke slides her hands under her thighs, hoping that sitting on them will keep her from touching him. But the way that she's looking at him makes it pretty obvious that she wants to. ] I have a feeling this is going to be a really bad idea.

There are worse ideas. [He's pretty sure sitting alone in your apartment gnawing on carrots isn't the best idea ever]

Like what? [ She's hoping that if he continues talking, she won't be as tempted to jump him. So far? It's not working too well. ]
