60th Hunt [Voice || Action]

Personally I liked it better last year when there were fountains of beer.

[If anyone wants to run into Dean, he's got the Impala parked off the square and he's sitting on the hood, leaning against the windshield with a cooler of beer on the ground next to him, classic rock coming out of the Impala's speakers]

Think we'll see any leprechauns?

[Dean shrugs a bit then nods.]

Good place as any to talk.

You doing okay?

Yeah. I'm awesome. [He is actually less than awesome but he's standing by his claim.] How you doing?

I don't like this. I feel too unsettled.

[She looks it, shifting in place and watching the ground.]

[Dean scrubs his hands over his face and nods] Yeah everything's going to shit.

At least you're not alone?

[It's as reassuring as she can manage. She's not used to being so... powerless. Even when she was human she still felt she had an advantage, but what's going on is not curse, no temporary unsettling and she has not resources, no tricks, no places to go.]

Only thing that makes this not suck. [And really it's true. He's just hanging in there for Sam, Anna and Cas.]

[She leans into him, giving him a little nudge.] Glad I can help.

[He slides his arm around Anna's shoulders and pulls her into his chest, dipping his head to kiss the top of her head]

[She smiles slightly, letting him hold her close.]

We don't have to stay out here. Did you want to get something to eat?

I could go for some pie. [he slips off the hood of the car and holds his hand out for hers]

[She takes his hand and gives it a squeeze.]

Dean, are you happy?

[He purses his lips, thinks about that and then nods] Yeah and I know that's screwed up because this place is screwed up but yeah...I'm happy.

[And it's true ninety percent of the time. Sure occasionally the curses make life here hell for him but most of the time, he's good.]

I'm glad. [She squeezes is hand again.]

You deserve it. Happiness.

[And now he's waiting for the other shoe to drop. It always does. At least in his life] What about you? Happy?

I am. I think... I could find peace here. Despite everything.

Yeah...despite everything. [He feels the same way most of the time. In fact he'd say he has found peace here. As much as he ever will.]
