The camera shifts back and Dean blows 'smoke' off the end of the gun, twirls it good old fashioned cowboy style and tucks it into the back of his jeans. He tilts an imaginary hat up on his head and grins at the video]

A life. I've got memories of a normal one. Mom was alive, Sam was in law school and engaged to his girlfriend. I was living with a nurse who loved me. Dad was dead but he died of a heart attack not some deal with a demon.

I'm offering all the memories of that for Sam's life back.

Bliss and peace and happiness and contentment and dopamine overflow just oozing out your ears.

A life, or the essence of a life, for the actuality of a life. The framework of a life, for the reality of a life.
