74th Hunt [Video]

[Dean flips on the video as he's emerging from building 7. He looks rough, unshaven, exhausted and dirty. He is tired, exhausted and ready for a shower but he's grateful in some ways to be back. He didn't find any of the answers he wanted, just more questions so on the whole, while he's glad he went, the trip was largely unsatisfying.]

So we're back. I hate the damn desert.

About ten minutes later she pulls the Impala up as she'd recognized where he was. Not only is the car in the same working order he'd left it in but it's also completely and utterly clean, minus a few details. Cleaning the car had been stress-relieving for her and she'd taken a vacuum to it though she'd left all of the little memories of the boys' childhood alone. Once Mary had put the car in park she steps out.] You look exhausted.

[While he's waiting for her, he sits down on the curb, getting to his feet slowly when he sees the Impala.]

I think I could sleep for a week. [He's got his duffle bags with him. The one filled with weapons is still pretty heavy but the other one, the one that held ammo, is empty. He walks over to the back passenger side and tosses the bags into the backseat.]

If you do I'll be calling a doctor to put you on an IV. [There's a bit of teasing to her voice as she watches him put his bags into the car. Dean may want to drive his car after being away or he might be too tired to even think of it - either way she'll let him decide.]

Well she's been sitting in my garage for two weeks and I thought she could use a good cleaning. I'm glad you're back. [Safe and sound.]

[Sorry, Dean doesn't have much time to recover and really he just barely keeps them both from falling down. Just barely. His arms do go around Dulcie, either from self preservation or because he wants a hug. You choose. Also, he might sound a bit out of breath, like she knocked the wind out of him when he speaks.]

As long as they don't wake me up doing it. [He's too exhausted to appreciate driving the Impala anyway so he'll let Mary drive for the moment. When he's done tossing things in the back he turns around and hugs her. It's not one of the hugs where he picks her up off her feet. Too tired for that.] Yeah. Me too. I'm glad you're still here.

I'll be sure they're stealthy about it. [Good, then he'll be too exhausted to argue with her about going to her house instead of his apartment to sleep so she can make him a big meal when he gets up. She doesn't expect him to live with her but Mary does have a room made up for both of her boys if they ever wanted to stay over. As for the hug, she doesn't mind not being picked up but returns it fiercely one hand petting the back of his head reassuringly.] I'm always with you, Dean.
