75th Hunt [Video | Action]
[Dean is approaching this whole thing with a lot of mixed feelings. He knows he could see Sam. He also knows seeing Sam would mean losing him again and as much as he wants to see Sam, he doesn't know if he can handle losing him again. He's a bit grumpy but he's sitting on the hood of the Impala just off the square with a half a tin of Mary's cherry pie and a six pack of beer. He's Sampeople watching.]
Great. One of these weekends again. Don't touch the car without permission. Make a line over there to touch me and I'm way more awesome than Carver Edlund ever imagined.

[She goes back to leaning against him, grateful for the comfort it offers.]
I wish I could stay longer than the few days I seem to get. I'd like to get to know your mother.

[He takes a deep breath and presses a kiss to the top of her head.]</small. Yeah, I wish you could get to know her too. She's amazing. I mean I know she screwed up making that deal but...she couldn't help it, Anna. She had to.

[She sighs a little at the contact. Familiar and tender, two things she'd never expected from a man like Dean Winchester when she met him.]

[It's a little bit of a joke.]
no subject
[She doesn't mind the joke and gives him a little nudge with her elbow in return.]
A great night of sex and I'm gone the next day.
no subject
[Because he's going to take you up on it if it is.]
no subject
[She smiles and looks down at the ground before back at him. She won't say no, but its his call, he's the one that remembers after she's gone.]
no subject
[he stops long enough to place hand at the back of her neck and pull her in for a real kiss. This might not be the smartest thing he's done but the intimacy is something he could really use right now.]
no subject
They have the weekend after all.]
Just like that, huh?
[She chuckles as she slides off the hood of the Impala.]
no subject
Angel, you wanna spend the night with me?
[It's in that low, husky sort of voice he occasionally uses.]
no subject
Only if you can show me heaven.
no subject
You'll have to let me know when we get there.
no subject
[She reaches up and pulls him down for another soft kiss.]
Come on, before your mother gets home.
no subject
[But he goes around to open the car door for her anyway.]
no subject
[She's as genuinely surprised as she is intrigued. Sure Dean's the proverbial big boy, but it's still his mother. One he hasn't seen since, well, technically since Anna tried to kill her, but effectively since childhood.]
Let me guess, next door? Down the hall in my former apartment?
no subject
[It's his own space so his Mom isn't witness to everything he does but she's still close.] She's got a lawn.
[And he sounds pretty happy about that.]
no subject
Do you have to mow it for beer money?

[So different from some humans. Dean would be happy just to live in a life where his family was safe and he could enjoy the things he was so often denied.]

It's much nicer than the apartments were. Even after we expanded them into each other.
no subject
I don't know. I liked the apartments but this seemed more...Mom.

[Getting out, she willingly offers her hand, giving him a slight squeeze when she does. This place is artificial to her, she can't feel settled, but Dean has a life here and part of her is very thankful for that... and sad that she can't be here to share any of it. After all the work they did, after all the fights they've had, if she'd ever had something like this back home many things would have been different.]

[They immediately turn into a staircase that leads up to the apartment above the garage. It's occurred to him too, that she should be here to experience all of this and it sucks that she's not. It's also pretty much as he expects. Dean doesn't get to have anything nice for too long before the universe screws him. He unlocks the door at the top of the staircase and throws it open.]
Home sweet home.
[It's kind of messy but thankfully he hasn't been back long enough to make a big mess.]
no subject
It's nice.
