She's very good about not hurting his feelings by watching his tells-- not many people are able to pick up on them as well as Ruby or Dean do and that is because of trust. It does slow down their runs when she opens them up to conversation as he can't maintain a brisk speed while requiring extra breathes. The conversation is always welcome, though, and a highlight to the mornings. He would half argue that she loves to see him sweat too.

Yes, of course, Ruby would brush it off; Sam, however, feels she deserves to be complimented when her effort is appreciated. That's how their relationship works. It's because of Dean that Sam agreed to it in the first place. His brother wasn't wrong to bring up that they need to 'live a little.' Perhaps a better way to phrase what his trips to the store had been would be little to no effort. Lucy could ask him all day long to grab different things and it wouldn't seem like any trouble.

Allison had that going for her. In fact, some of those revived that were alive during Chuck's wipe had taken it more poorly. The world at large had convinced themselves nothing had happened while someone like Allison asked questions and opened herself up to the answers. Jack was happiest when she accepted his company even knowing his role in the universe. He had fallen hard like many teenagers/youth in their early 20s before him.

"Sounds like you have an agreement at least." Unspoken or otherwise. His brow raises, "We have a Santa now?" He hadn't seen one coming in, if Dean meant some blow up version. Otherwise, he was certain of one thing. "Right anyway, I think Santa is safe. She's not allergic to Santa." He casts another look around, knowing the importance to his brother. "Honestly, it's a lot like those houses we drove past as kids. You always said you would do it better than them one day. ...Think you finally accomplished that." Never mind that some areas of the bunker were heavily decorated.
