Apologizing? Yeah, that's what this is. [RP for [livejournal.com profile] giveandforgive]

In regards to this

The fucking door was locked. Of course the fucking door was locked. Dean blew air out his nose and paced in front of the door a moment. He had a chokehold on some white flowers he'd jerked out of the yard next door and he was half certain they were weeds instead of flowers. He kind of wanted to Rhett Butler the whole thing (Yes, he's seen Gone with the Wind. Deal with it) but he was pretty sure if he remembered right it had pissed Scarlett off and chances were good it was going to piss Brooke off too. Instead he went to the Impala and got his lock picks out of the trunk. He carried them back in the house, took a few seconds to pick the lock and opened the door. He stepped inside, closing the door behind him and looked up to Brooke. He figured his chances were about fifty fifty she'd throw his ass out right now.

"Hey now, I think I might be insulted by that. Think of me more as a Ninja, but cooler," Dean joked with her. He dipped his head to kiss her again. Making up was so much more fun than fighting.

"But you bark like a guard dog," Brooke reminded him, pulling back with a giggle. "You do."

"Hey! I don't-" Dean started. He didn't get far. He laughed and nodded. "Okay, sometimes I do."

"See, you're my guard dog," Brooke smiled, giving him another kiss. "Sam's like the little puppy that follows you around because you're the badass."

"Sweetheart, you've got us all figured out," Dean laughed.

"I know, I'm damn good," she grinned, glad that he was in a good mood now.

"I can't argue with that," Dean told her with a smile. He was just glad he was out of the dog house.

"You're afraid to," she teased. "What do you want to do today?"

[identity profile] dude-imbatman.livejournal.com 2009-01-19 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
Dean shrugged. "I don't have any plans. Do you?"

[identity profile] giveandforgive.livejournal.com 2009-01-19 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
"Nope," Brooke shook her head. "Now that your baby is all cleaned up, we could drive for a while."

[identity profile] dude-imbatman.livejournal.com 2009-01-19 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hmmm, I like this idea," Dean grinned at her. "Come on, let's go drive." He pulled away, his hand sliding down her arm to capture her hand in his. "Better get a coat, it's a little cold out there."

[identity profile] giveandforgive.livejournal.com 2009-01-19 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
"Now you're worried about it being cold," she laughed, squeezing his hand. "You're so weird."

Dean smirked at her and slipped out of his leather jacket. He draped it around Brooke's shoulders. "Get your ass in the car, Woman," he grinned.

Brooke smiled, carefully holding on to the jacket that threatened to swallow her. She knew it was important to him so she was going to treat it that way. Moving out of the house somewhat quickly, she headed for the Impala and hopped in the passenger side.

Dean followed her just a little bit behind, watching as she slid into the passenger side of the Impala. He scooted into the driver's side and started the car, backing out and onto the road. He watched her out of the corner of his eye as he drove, flipping on the heater once it'd had a chance to warm up. He wasn't sure he deserved to be happy right now, especially with everything he'd done and everything that was going on but at the moment, he wasn't going to worry about that. He wasn't in Hell anymore and he figured even the angels couldn't really begrudge him time took to appreciate that. Okay...so Uriel probably could.
