14th Hunt [Accidental (sort of) Video] I'm a Cowboy. On a steel horse I ride...
[The feed shows Dean sitting in a hospital room. He is in a chair, head bent back over the back of the chair. He is snoring and it is the snoring that wakes him up. He actually jumps and scrubs his hands over his face. He glances at the machines hooked up Castiel, the man in the bed then pokes Castiel in the ribs.]
Cas. Hey slacker angel. Wake the hell up.
[And he pokes him again with no effect. If he had a stick he would poke him harder. As it is, he sighs then checks his device to see if he missed any calls or messages. That's when he notices it's on. he shoots it a really nice bitchface and decides to address the network]
Who ever hurt Cas? We will hunt your ass down, we will find you and we will kill you. You don't fuck with Winchesters.
[Private to Anna]
So Cas is hurt. You can probably feel that with your angel mojo. Or you saw the broadcast of his fall. He's in the hospital and I've poked him, read him a story and gotten the hottest nurse I can find to give him a sponge bath. I've got nothing left so let's bury the hatchet. For Cas' sake. Only not in my head. Or my back. Or any part of my body. Okay if you really think I'm that big a dick you can bury it in my thigh. Just avoid the artery.
I need some help, Anna. Cas needs help.

Re: [action]
[Or at least he's hoping he's still Cas. He needs to still be Cas.]
I'll help him.
[It's a promise. One he intends to keep even if Cas hates him for it]
Thanks Anna.
Re: [action]
[She reaches out and presses her fingers to his forehead, releasing the power she's still not used to having here.]
hopping in?
[action]
Re: [action]
[Dean crosses his arms over his chest to illustrate that he doesn't care if Cas is pissed.]
At least I didn't have to sell my soul this time.
[Because he would have.]
Thanks, Anna.
[action]
...You should've left me.
[But that's not really it, either. Any way he slices it, he was fucked from the beginning. Now he was just a walking freak. None of this was their faults. He strains to make it sound genuine, because it is genuine. It just sounds a little bitter still.]
Thank you.
[action]
No one's leaving you to die. Not here.
[She watches Castiel closely.]
What did you see? What do you remember?
[Who am I seeking out to kill?]
Re: [action]
[It has to be said. Sorry you're a Winchester now, Cas.
He cocks his head and listens, waiting for Cas' answer. Anna's asking the right questions and he doesn't want to overwhelm the former angel.]
[action]
Nothing. I was just enacting old habits. He ambushed me from behind, and at first I thought it was you, coming around to finally unleash your seemingly endless anger on me. [Okay, a little more belligerent than he meant. Deep breath.] He far outmatched me in the fight. He's definitely not from our world.
[action]
I saw the place he attacked you, he left no trace. Are there any physical features you remember? Verbal ticks? Attack preferences?
Re: [action]
[action]
It wasn't improvised. He had to have watched me for awhile to know where I'd be. Eyes first, then-- he might have been testing me; he was fast, but I suspect I was allowed to live for longer than if he had simply wanted to murder me.
[action]
[Anna's focus turns to Dean.] Not-human, professional, taunting. I'd be surprised if he were a native.
Re: [action]
Alright. I've talked to a guy who had something recently happen to his friend. He thinks it's connected. I'll keep talking to him. Listen around, see what you hear and let me know if you come up with anything. I'll keep you in the loop as well.
[It's still a bit awkward with Anna but Castiel needs them to work together so he will.]
[action]
His weapon, it was...unique. Might have been a sword but he fought with it like a spear, or a staff. Maybe both.
[action]
I'll look around.
[She turns to Dean.]
Don't leave him alone, the murderer might come back.
[She leaves the rest unspoken, he shouldn't be alone while he adjusts to being human.
She doesn't wait for an acknowledgment before she leaves as quickly as she came.]
