It is Dean who introduced Castiel to the concept of a selfie. Yet,yes, he still got it wrong and sent Dean that picture of Lucy and his feet while "netflix and chilling."

(It would not be the worst thing in his opinion to be stuck with a half soul and half grace.)

No one that would tell him to stop being weird and come in already or use some metaphor he didn't follow (cows coming home right any bells?), thankfully. Castiel can only assume Dean wants him to have pie and he sits down where the plate is placed. "Thank you," he adds. He places the box down closer to Dean. "No...yes. We worked together to make them. There's one of each." Blueberry, pumpkin, banana, etc. Evidence to that fact is the little bit of flour in his hair.

Then it seems to work for the both of them. Cas feels like one of them with the check ins going both ways. (It could very well have been before any legitimate 'chilling.' Cas is only one to tell if asked.)

Does Dean want one or not? Castiel can only guess that there is something off in the way they came out and momentarily looks down at them to see what it could be. Flour in his hair should go away should he shower. That's probably where he will go next. He'll take it as compliment to be considered a baker. "There is no trying. I'm certified to recreate this on my own now." According to Luce. "But yes. I offered to help bake for her to pick up the slack."

Dean is always one to stuff his mouth and Castiel does feel he's better equipped to read the expressions the hunter has while chipmunk faced. "Yes," he answers, knowledgeable enough to know the recipe and measurements aren't what Dean are looking for. The thumps up are his next clue that he's done a good job which prompts a smile. "You can tell me if you need more." It's an offer as well as a cause for pride.

It has not gone unnoticed that Dean takes care of everyone except himself. If he hasn't noticed, Cas' small gesture and frequent others are a result of Dean being the most caring human he knows past and present. Cas barely needs to consider accepting the job. "No." Is he ever kidding? "I will leave these with you and make more." Most likely right away if no one says anything. Lucy is a very skilled baker and it would be an honor to fill her shoes.

Being the resident baker would allow him to feel more useful. "Yes. Good enough to lose track of them."

As far as Cas is concerned, Dean has his issues but is a role model among humans. "I could do that the next time we're together." He looks at Dean as if to decipher his memory capacity though.

The less maniac, more content face on Dean helps Cas decide Dean is still well mentally, though perhaps impaired in some way by 'food coma.' "Oh, no. The word we're using is exclusive."

Cas has certainly seen the signs of Dean looking better for his family being around. The jokes around the table from the older Winchester boy have been forthcoming.

He's not sure how his being an angel affects being exclusive but he pauses to consider where Dean is going with it. Obviously, it sounds to be one thing. "You mean sex?" he guesses. "It... My penis is not broken, Dean."

Happiness suits Dean. Cas may have some concerns where being human for longer periods of time is concerned, but on the same token not looking to concern Dean about what he does not yet understand. Lucy and him have talked about STDs and birth control.

Surprised expressions and scowls are also what Cas expects from Dean. However, the question then becomes what Dean expects to hear about how it works with Lucy. He lets Dean talk for a moment while he stands there compliating how they're still not talking about his 'angel junk.' "Correct. Other angels are not running around, like you say, "hooking up," for fear of birthing a nephilim. I have made sure that is not plausible."

As for Lucy not being a one week a month girl that is something he does not yet have an answer to. It slowly seems like it's working itself out though because the angel does have rocks.

Talking to Ruby about it is something he will have to consider. Of course, he'll get there eventually because they're the only two non-humans he is aware of.

These conversations are often unnecessarily complicated and labyrinth-like. Would he change that about his friend though? No. Cas can only assume his 'rocks' go hand in hand about his humanity. "Yes. The connection with Heaven here is weaker. In time, I will probably lose all my grace and be... human." He hadn't wanted to trouble Dean with that theory before, but now he does not sound so sure that it is a bad thing. There's so much more to humanity than burning brightly for a short amount of time in his opinion.

Whichever way it goes, Castiel can only be better for his experiences with Lucy.

It's best if she's the only one he is aware of. The angel would find Damon immediately suspicious.

There is a lot that Castiel isn't saying or may not even be aware of with his condition. There is certainly some evidence to suggest he has wanted sex before as an angel though often when he was weakened or cut off from heaven. This conversation is a first for all that. "I hadn't really thought about it." Maybe that means he does not want to. This line of questioning is very confusing. But if one thing is for sure, he wouldn't return home just to remain an angel because his friends are here.

Not that Damon wants it advertised that he is a softy.

Castiel at least feels the same way about staying put. Regaining a connection to Heaven though may just be too far out of reach but somehow he can think of worse things that could happen.

"If you have ideas, my eardrums are not ruptured." Is that not the saying?

Not all of his brothers and sisters in Heaven are douches Dean. At the same time, it is not untrue that Castiel would want to keep a connection to home. He does think it's a consequence to accept with choosing to call this place home.

Cas just nods. It's what he meant. He's hard to know all the time when Dean is stalling and when he is helping so the angel remains appreciative rather than skeptical with where he's going with this. It lasts as long as the time it takes for Dean to open his mouth with implausible ideas. "If there were anything like that to exist, it would be God himself or locked away in Heaven. I've never heard of anything that could do that." Something like that couldn't exist because it could essentially make anyone an angel. Thanks for trying though, Dean.

(Maybe there is something and Cas doesn't know about it yet.)

There would give Castiel no greater pleasure than to introduce Dean to some of the siblings created around the same time as him. Cas hadn't informed him before now because the upside outweighs the consequences.

The last thing he wants to do is give Dean a false sense of hope. It is not his intention to shoot down the ideas Dean is brainstorming. There is a moment where Cas realizes between them he creates the awkward silence, and to remedy it he puts himself into Dean's shoes as Sam once suggested. "It seems...there is no harm in trying. You've found the answer for the impossible before." He accepts the outcome whatever it is though he knows Dean doesn't accept change all that well.
